Warranty
WARRANTY (MAINTENANCE CONTRACT) COVERAGE
Devices purchased after August 2002: Axon Industries, a division of NDA, Inc., warrants that the Neual-Scan is free from defective materials and/or workmanship. Axon Ind. will replace/repair the unit if any part proves to be defective in normal use within a 3 year period from the date of purchase.
This warranty will be considered void if the unit is tampered with (opened), or subjected to misuse, negligence or accidental damage. No other warranty is expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the fitness and merchantability for particular purpose. Axon Ind. shall not be liable for consequential damages. There are no other expressed warranties other than those stated herein.
EXTENSION OF MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
After the three year warranty has expired yearly extension of the same coverage may be purchased for $2000 per year. This covers the same as stated above, including free shipping and handling.

FDA Indications and Usage: The Neural-ScanTM NCSs is a diagnostic device that allows the quantitative detection of various sensory neurological impairments caused by various pathological conditions or toxic substance exposures. The subject population for whom this device can be used for diagnostic purposes includes any individual capable of communicating the perception of cutaneous sensation (with the potentiometer, which has a separate FDA clearance, the test is not dependent on the subject reporting perception of the cutaneous sensation, since the action potential of the nerve firing is detectable by the potentiometer). The Neural-ScanTM NCSs diagnostic examination may be conducted as part the neurological examination or for screening to detect peripheral neuropathies.
